macOS

  • Switched from Sandboxed to non-Sandboxed build to support SMB - includes data migration
  • Recommended to test first with a Streamlet Account backup

UI / UX

  • New stream tiles
  • Detail screen now includes an action dialog - mark as watched (movies only for now)

Subtitles

Playback

  • Last opened streams are now saved
  • By stream ID - "Last played"
  • Fallback to name for modules with variable IDs - "Probably last played"
  • Option to prefer HDR/DV streams added in Settings - Streams (DV always scores slightly higher than HDR)
  • If a minimum stream size is set but a module doesn't provide it, all streams for that module are shown
  • Fixed a bug where selected audio language and playback speed weren't carried over to the next episode in some modules
  • Fixed a bug where the stream restarted from the beginning after a longer pause (Windows + macOS)
  • Fixed fullscreen toggle bug (Windows + macOS)


Search

  • Rebuilt with parallel lazy loading and Skeletons - results appear progressively without waiting for all modules
  • Fixed progressively increasing search resource usage causing app freezes


EPG

  • EPG entries in the repository are now sorted by translated country name
  • Significantly faster EPG loading
  • After returning from the player, EPG automatically scrolls to the current position (time/channel)
  • Fixed EPG database corruption causing app crashes on startup (Windows + macOS)


Stremio Add-ons

  • Fixed URL construction for Stremio add-ons
  • Added reinstall input in Stremio add-on detail to prevent duplicates
  • Stremio add-on repository now opens in the browser - add-ons are no longer installed automatically


Sync

  • Fixed playlist sync — fake channel data was persisting after file import; imported files will not be synced


Samba / Local files

  • Added experimenta Samba and local file support (Android without .avi for now)


Stability & Fixes

  • Fixed ExoPlayer crashes after STOP (Android/Google TV)
